Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New attachments and products are being designed and developed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
