The Future

In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator.
