Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in warehouse and shipping operations. Also called pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are used in order to move things and supplies around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump which can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated carefully in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Machine should be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle could smoothly turn. The pallet should be carefully stacked to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks should be in the middle to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is truly dangerous to push the pallet in front of you since the thrust can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
