Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is designed to raise staff is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
